Passage restriction signs (R-200–R-205)
They bar or limit vehicles by mass, size or another condition.
How to recognise them: A circle with a red border and a white background, carrying the figure or symbol of the limit it sets.
How this group is laid out
Here the ban no longer depends on what kind of vehicle it is, but on how much it weighs or measures. The exception is R-200, which requires you to stop at a customs post, police check, toll or other post named on the sign, behind which there may be mechanical barriers. Once stopped there, you may not move off until you have done what the sign requires.
The others carry a figure. R-201 and R-202 deal with weight: the first with the vehicle's laden weight, in tonnes; the second with the weight that the wheels on any one of its axles put on the road. R-203, R-204 and R-205 deal with size: maximum length, width and height, always counting the load. For length, a combination of vehicles counts too, not just one. Like the no-entry signs, all of them bind whoever meets them head-on in their direction of travel, from the point where they stand.

R-201
R-202R-201 limits the laden weight of the whole vehicle. R-202 limits the weight that the wheels on one axle put on the road, whichever axle it is.
R-203
R-204
R-205Each limits one measurement with the load included: length (R-203), width (R-204) and height (R-205). Only the length limit also applies to a combination of vehicles.
R-200R-201R-200 is the only sign in the group that sets no limit: it requires you to stop at the post it names and not to go on until you have done what it requires. R-201 onwards carry a figure, and R-201 gives it in tonnes.

R-205
Height limit
No entry for vehicles taller than the figure shown, load included.
